You might have noticed that I’ve been a bit absent around here over the past couple of months. To be perfectly honest, I’ve been struggling to keep on top of regular posting alongside everything else. I absolutely love creating and sharing recipes on here, but I never want it to feel like a chore and lately it’s started to.
I’ve got no plans to hang up my apron just yet, but I am going to take a little break from sharing new posts for a few weeks. I’m hoping that taking some time to relax and enjoy being in the kitchen without the pressure (self imposed, I know!) of turning every meal into a post will get me excited about cooking again.
In the meantime, here are a few of my favourite food blogs that you should definitely check out!
Pinch of Yum :: for comforting, yet healthy dishesΒ & serious food enthusiasm
My Name is Yeh :: for the cutest decorated cakes you’ve ever seen
Lauren Caris Cooks :: for creative, fresh recipes
Bojon Gourmet :: for stunning food photography
Sally’s Baking Addiction :: for recipes for every bake you can think of
Figs and PigsΒ :: for amazing canape and snack ideas
Patisserie Makes Perfect :: for beautifully decorated desserts
What are your go-to food blogs? I’m always looking to discover some new reads π

Thank you so much Kirsty!! I am so honored to be included amongst this amazing group of bloggers. Your blog is always one I come back to to read! I took a little blogging break over the summer and I felt SO refreshed and ready to start again, sometimes a little break is the best thing for it. Enjoy your time and hope you feel refreshed and inspired afterwards! Lauren xx

Thank you so much for including me in your round up Kirsty, what a compliment. There are some blogs I already love but a couple of new discoveries too that I will now be following. I feel you with the whole pressure thing we definitely do this to ourselves as bloggers trying to be consistent. Your right it can sometimes mean you don’t always take the time to actually cook what you enjoy and eat the food when its actually hot. I think a break can be healthy and inspiring. I will be here eagerly awaiting your return. x

You’re welcome, your blog really is one of my favourites π
I know, I’ve found it’s stressing me out a bit recently which is so silly given it’s a hobby and nobody’s putting pressure on me but myself! I’m hoping a little break will help put things in perspective.
Thanks for your lovely comment π xx
